Big Cypress Marsh #1
Big Cypress National Preserve
Big Cypress Marsh #5 I had been driving by this area in the Big Cypress Preserve all summer thinking this would be a great spot to make a photograph. Most of the places I work in are a long ways from the road and usually involve hiking in with 60 lbs of gear on my back through knee deep water, so I figured this would be a piece of cake. I parked my van on the side of the road as the sun was starting to set. I mounted my 8x10 camera on my tripod and proceeded to walk in. To my surprise I immediately sunk in up to my waist in mud and wet grass. I realized quickly this was going to be much harder than I thought. As I trudged along I soon became aware that I wasn't alone, little heads started popping up one by one checking me out. With all these young gators surrounding me, I figured momma couldn't be far away. That gave me something to think about as I climbed under my dark cloth to compose this image. The sun was starting to set and the skies weren't cooperating and then things started to change. To my good fortune the clouds fell into place and the setting sun at my back gave the grass a beautiful amber glow. I was able to get this shot and I feel it captures the mood and the beauty of the scene I had immersed myself in.
Loose prints are available on high quality paper, printed to the very high standards by the artist. They will have approximately a one inch reveal where the image will be signed and labeled. The dimensions will be to the outside of the paper. They can be matted, mounted and framed by your local framer. All images will be cropped by the artist to fit the dimension. 11x14 loose prints will be labeled and signed electronically.
Matted and Mounted
My matted and mounted images are mounted to an archival backer board, typically cold mounted with Coda Cold Mount 1 adhesive. An archival white mat is then adhered over top of the image with a 4in border and then a 1/2in paper border, allowing space for signature and title on the image, creating the look of a double border. The dimensions are to the outside of the matt and backer, not the image which will be approximately 10in smaller in each direction. They will be ready to frame by your local framer. All images will be cropped by the artist to fit the dimension.
This is a very contemporary look created by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. The surface is extremely durable, the colors are vibrant and the images take on an almost magical luminescence. The ultra-hard scratch resistant surface is waterproof and can be cleaned easily. I recommend a luster finish but high gloss and matt are available. They include a rear mounting frame and are ready to hang. All images will be cropped by the artist to fit the dimension.
Acrylic Face Mount
We offer acrylic prints (PlexiMounts) in gloss. The gloss acrylic comes in 1/4". All our acrylic prints are back mounted using DiBond an aluminum composite material. Acrylic Photo Prints come with a fully integrated aluminum frame brace hanging system. All images will be cropped by the artist to fit the dimension.
Our gallery farming option is a ready to hang museum look. The frame is a black aluminum and the glazing is acrylic. The image is matted and mounted to an archival backer board, typically cold mounted with Coda Cold Mount 1 adhesive. An archival white mat is then adhered over top of the image with a 4in border and then a 1/2in paper border, allowing space for signature and title on the image, creating the look of a double border. The dimensions are to the outside of the matt and backer, not the image which will be approximately 10in smaller in each direction. All images will be cropped by the artist to fit the dimension.

My Print Options We are proud to offer our images in several styles and mounts. The available print options are shown beneath the large display of each image. Just click on the style and size you want. I am very particular about using the highest quality materials that will provide a beautiful long lasting piece of art.
Displaying Photographic Artwork It is important that you display any fine art photography in a well-lit space. You are reviewing images on back-lit screens and if they are mounted and displayed in dimly lit areas, you could be disappointed in the result.
Special Requests If there is something you are interested in that is not shown, such as an unusual size or type of print that is not listed, a large order of multiple prints or anything else, just drop us a note and we can work together to come up with a solution.
Shipping The cost of shipping is included for orders in the United States. Your artwork will be carefully packed and could require signature upon receipt. We ask that you immediately inspect the artwork for any damage that may have occurred in shipping.
Corporate work I can offer significant quantity discounts for large offices and corporate buildings and will work with you through that process. Nothing changes the feel and mood of an office like fine art photography! Just contact me for pricing.
