This is an image I captured quite a few years ago on a very flooded Fisheating Creek. I made the long journey in my small Gheenoe late one afternoon. The creek was so high, I couldn't tell what was creek and what was normally forest. Anyway, as the sun was getting low, I started downstream to get back to my truck, What I thought was creek was forest. I thought, if I keep going I will get back to the creek, I could see it about 100 yards to my left. The trees got tighter and the current got stronger. I got to a point where I couldn't go any further because my boat was wedged between Cypress trees and the current was pushing it tighter. The thought came over me, that I would have to abandon my boat and float down creek the ten miles or so to my truck. I knew once the water receded my boat would be stuck in the woods for eternity. So I jumped out into the chest deep water and dislodged my boat. I then tied a rope to it and walked about a quarter mile back to this cabin dragging my boat through the trees against the current the whole way. Now with the sun setting, I found my way back to the creek and made the journey back to my truck. The beer in my cooler never tasted so good! Photo © copyright by John Brady.

Loose Print

Loose prints are available on high quality paper, printed to the very high standards by the artist. They will have approximately a two inch reveal where the image will be signed and labeled. The dimensions will be to the outside of the paper meaning the actual image size will be smaller than the paper size. They can be matted, mounted and framed by your local framer. All images will be cropped by the artist to fit the dimension.

Matted and Mounted

My matted and mounted images are adhered to an archival backer board, typically cold mounted with Coda Cold Mount 1 adhesive. An archival white mat is then adhered over top of the image with a 1.5in border and then a 1/2in paper border, allowing space for signature and title on the image, creating the look of a double border. The dimensions are to the outside of the matt and backer, not the image which will be approximately 4in smaller in each direction. They will be ready to frame by your local framer. All images will be cropped by the artist to fit the dimension.

Silver Gelatin Darkroom Prints These are hand made prints made by Joh Brady in his darkroom. These are the highest quality images made from Large Format negatives. All prints are made on Ilford multi grade fiber paper. Each print is selenium toned and made using archival standards.

Displaying Photographic Artwork It is important that you display any fine art photography in a well-lit space. You are reviewing images on back-lit screens and if they are mounted and displayed in dimly lit areas, you could be disappointed in the result.

Shipping Your artwork will be carefully packed and could require signature upon receipt. We ask that you immediately inspect the artwork for any damage that may have occurred in shipping.
